Graduation

I was driving to my Mom and Dad's house when I got a phone call from my Mother-in-law telling me that my Sister-in-law was Graduating from BYU. They graduation was in three days and was wondering if we could make it. I told her I didn't know and I would talk to Randy and get back with them. We later called and told them we could only make it to one of the ceremonies. After talking to them about why we didn't know sooner we found out that she hadn't told any one in the family. My mother-in-law asked my father-in-law when graduation was and he said in a few days. She asked him to call her and find out if she was going to graduate. She told him that she was and they called the rest of the family. Not everyone was able to make it. Leave it to Randy's family not to tell anyone until a few days before. You would think that since she is the first to Graduate she would want everyone to know. She told me that she just forgot. The sad thing is that her in-laws have known for over a month. She is never going to live this down. My mother-in-law told her that if she didn't tell her first when she is pregnant she was going to be in so much trouble. Thankfully Randy and I and Tyler could make it. Clay couldn't go because he had other things going that night. It was a good ceremony. BYU had over 6000 Graduate.

Sod Laying

My dad had asked me if we could go and help my sister and brother-in-law lay sod. So I told him if it was done on a day Randy had off. Luckily it was on a day he had off, so we went up to help. The house across the street had burned down a few months ago and they had to have it torn down by the end of the month. They were nice enough to let them have the grass. So they rented a sod cutter and everyone went to work. Randy worked the sod cutter and Steve, my Dad and a neighbor rolled the sod and put on a trailer. The kids tried to help. My Mom and Amanda cleaned the back lawn so they could get it and I was in charge of all the kids. Tyler, Teto and Lala had fun finding bugs and Clay tried to help roll the sod up, but he wasn't strong enough to carry it to the trailer, we filled up two trailer loads and almost had enough to cover their backyard, enough that the kids can go out side with out being filthy dirt.

Cousins

Durning Spring Break my Uncle Vern and Aunt Norma came to Utah to Drop off my cousin Travis off to school and BYU-Idaho. Which they do every year. But this time when the came one of their daughters came with them. I have not seen Tiffany in 16 years. The last time I saw her was when we went to Iowa and met them in Nauvoo.

It was so nice to catch up with her. Hopefully we will get the chance to she her more than just every 15 years. My only hope now is that I could see her brother Bryce. It has been that long since I have seen him. Maybe one day we all will get that chance.

Spring Break

The boys came to me this year and said "i hate spring break because we never do anything, all of our friends are doing something fun so can we do something." So I thought what can we do. Randy has to work 2 of the days and what can I do with them that won't cost any money. The first day we didn't do anything because I couldn't think of anything to do. Then I remembered something a friend did that was free (Thanks Lori) so we I deciede that we would go to the Walter Wick Exhabit at BYU. I invited my sister to go but that morning she called and canceled so we invited Caleb Clay and Tylers cousin. The Boys had a great time together like they always do. I think that I enjoyed it more then they did. I love those type of books and games.

Then we went nexted door to the next exhabit and the boys loved this one even more. Everything their is made form things we use all the time.

When we were done we went to the dollar movies and saw Hotel For Dogs. They loved it. When we dropped Caleb off at home he wanted to spend the night at are house but his mom said no because they were going to go up to Salt Lake for some fun early the next day. They invited Clay to spend the night and to go with him them the next day; so I let him. Tyler was devestated because they never invite him. Hopefully one day they will remember that he loves Caleb too and wants to spend time with him. So I took Tyler out to dinner his choice and then we came home and I let him stay up late. The next day Randy had off so I told Randy that I had told Tyler that we would go anywhere he wanted and have fun. He choose to go to IHOP for lunch and then to Trafalga for around of Miniture Golf. Tyler and Randy both got Hole-in-ones.It didn't suprise me that Randy got one, but It suprised us that Tyler got one on the hardest hole. Randy beat both of us, but he has had a lot of practice. We had so much fun with Tyler.

Later we meet up with Clay and Caleb and then Caleb came and stayed the night at our house. So I think Spring Break ended up turning out and the boys had a lot of fun.

Easter

We had a great Easter weekend. It started out by going to the ward Easter Breakfast. (which Randy and I are on the Activities Comm). So since Randy had to work it was just the boys and I who went. Breakfast was good and then I was in charge of pinning the tail on the bunny., they also had bingo, egg walk and face painting. Clay and Tyler had alot of fun they told me. After we headed to the Easter Egg hunt that my Dad's work puts on. It is the best Easter egg hunt. We meet up with my Sister and her family and my Mom and Dad. All of the kids had a blast. Clay and Tyler got tons of candy. Teto and Lala did to. This is the first year they both really understood what was going on and they were just to cute.

After the hunt we invited Teto to come to our house to play, since Grandpa and Grandma were come down this way they could take him home. The boys wanted to color Easter eggs. So while they cleaned their room I boiled the eggs. This was Teto's first time coloring eggs, he did so good he only dropped one egg. Clay and Tyler loved the sports themed kit that I got.

Sunday they got up before I did and was all over the baskets that the Easter bunny left. They each got new Sunday shirts and looked very dashing in them.

Then later that night My Mom and Dad and Randy's family came for Easter dinner. I cooked a Turkey. Then we went to the choralais concert that I am in and my Dad and I sang a duet for one of the numbers. The concert turned out great and I'm sad that it is over until the fall. We all had a fantastic Easter.

Busy Day

Today was a busy day for me, so I will start with the boys.

Today was crazy hair day at school because the school meet their reading goal. So Clay and Tyler wanted to do something crazy with their hair. What do you do when it is short? you do a design and the shave the rest.

Clay wanted the letters BYU. I started with the B and it didn't work so I had to shave it off and start somewhere different, this it worked. Then on with the Y, by the time the Y was done I had no place to put the U so I put it on top of his head but it looks more like a monk. He loved it and all the teachers and if friends and classmates loved it to. Since they meet the reading goal all the teachers got their hair colored by one of the students form the class, and because all of this the news station came down and did a story about the school. Clay says he should be on TV tonight on KSL 5 so watch if you would like to get a glimpse of him.

Tyler wanted to have 3 spikes on the top. So I gave him his spikes. When I asked him if he liked it, he told me that he was thinking that he wanted more like a Mohawk, but he liked this so much bet. HE said "Mom you did an awesome job, it is better than what I wanted". That made me fell so good, that I exceeded his expectations. All the kids liked it and told him it made him look tough and scary, he liked that.

While they were at school I went to work for 45 min. Then to Physical Therapy for 2 hours the went to Color Me Mine to finish my Birthday bowl. It has taken7 hours for me to finish it. 3 hours on the Saturday of my party and 1 on Tuesday and almost 3 hours today.

Then I picked up something for Randy and then went out to eat at Noodles&Co. I have not had a whole day with out my boys or husband in years. It was really nice up also lonely. It would have been nice to have had a girlfriend to spend it with, but I don't have many. Here is a picture of my bowl finished without being fired or glazed and her are pictures of the guys done. They all look really good especially Randy's.
