Mystic Hot Springs, The Freemont Indain State Park, and the Manti Pageant

This year for our summer vacation we have deiced to stay here and check out the beautiful state we live in. There is so many cool things here that I have either have never have heard of or have been to. Randy found on line about Mystic hot springs.  Click here to check it out.http://www.mystichotsprings.com/index.html

So we packed up the car and hit the road. We stopped in Richfield for lunch and we ate at JB's.  Clay order the Salad Bar. My boys love vegetables so I was surprised he order it. But we he came back with his salad he had more beets on his plate then anything else. What 10 year old likes BEETS. Well mine does. You can't really tell from the picture.

After lunch Monroe here we come. We missed the turn off sign and ended up driving up the canyon They canyon was so beautiful.

We turned back around and found the turn off and checked in. We stayed in a refurbished  pioneer cabin.

Then we put our swimming suites on and we up to the hot springs. It was so nice the view and the temperature of the water. It was just wonderful. Randy and I soaked in the tubs for a little bit then went and joined the boys in the pool. They loved it.

They we went and ate dinner and went to the club house for the evening show. Performing that night was Trevor Green and he is really good. I enjoyed the performance.

I can't get the video of playing off of u-tube so check out the link. I like the first song the best. In the second one the is a violist that plays this cool viola.

After the show we went back to the springs before bed. They were so much hotter at night then the day so we didn't stay as long.

The moon was awesome so this is my attempt at trying yo catch it.

They we went to bed. The next morning we slept till 10:00am. We couldn't sleep any longer because it just got to hot in the cabin. We ate breakfast and we headed off the the Fremont Indian State Park.

Have you ever seen a Blooming Cactus in the wild I hadn't tell now.

This is a model of the types of house the lived in.

It was 15 degrees cool inside which was really nice.

100 Hands Cave

Lunch time.

Then it was off to the Manti Pageant.
It was good as always.

There is wally the protester, but they were pretty peaceful and then there were these two guys making fun of the protesters it was really funny.

Then pictures with the cast.

While waiting for it to stay we played Phase 10 and while playing Tyler was playing with his loose tooth and ended up some how turning it 190 degrees and getting it stuck behind another tooth which was really painful. The picture aren't the greatest but if you look really close you can kind of tell and look and the big tears on his check.

The Manti Temple as it was turning dark.

We made it home in an 1 1/2. That is the fastest I have ever made it home, and yes I obeyed all traffic laws. I didn't even drive the speed limit most of the time because I got behind so slow drivers which almost drove me mad.

I love this Beautiful State we live in and can't wait to discover even more of it.
