Night games

So my sisters decided to hold a adult night game night. So we went. We played fugitive. it was fun and very exhausting 3 played three rounds but I only played two and was the seeker for the third. If you have never heard of fugitive it is like hide in seek. You have  the hiders that start at location A and try to make it to the second location with out getting caught. The seekers are in a car  looking. The first round Malinda and started off together and we all most made it, and would have if the seekers wouldn't have changed cars. Randy went off with Brian and Alex. They got caught to for the same reason but before us. Amanda and Steve made there. The second round was Amanda and Steve who made it safe and then Alex and Malinda who got caught less than a block a way and then Randy and Brian and I  We almost got caught but made it. The third round I had had enough I had walk and run over 3 miles and I haven't done anything like that since last summer. So was Randy. Randy and I and Jayshree were the seekers this round. Amanda's Truck clutch only like Steve and Amanda. So I doing fine until we got to the stop light and had to stop. I couldn't get it into 1st gear when the light turned greens so we turned on the flashers and I had Randy come and try. He couldn't get it either, so Jayshree and I got out to push across the intersection on the next light. Neither of us have had to push a car before so I thought I would take a video if you would like watch it I think it is funny. Any ways we didn't make it across the intersection before the light turned red we were half way across. When we got across we were finally able to get it into gear and drive it to where our cars was and switch cars and we ended up catching both teams. We had a blast. We can't wait to play night games again.

Swimming Lessons

Clay and Tyler took swimming lessons again this summer. Tyler is getting better and Clay is quite the good little swimmer. Here are a pictures and video.

July 4th 2010

So we had no plans this day so I called my sister Malinda and asked them if they wanted to come over for dinner and games. They said they had made plans with their neighbors but we could join them if we wanted. So we to our game and went over. We had a BBQ with Brian and Malinda and with Alex and Jayshree LaRose. It also have fun when we are the Brian and Malinda and now with Jayshree and Alex. They feel like our friends too. So had dinner and then went and played Settlers of Catan and then went and lit fireworks. We had so much fun.

Statuim of Fire 2010

I love Carie Underwood so when I heard she would be the headline act at the Stadium of Fire I told Randy I wanted to go, and since it was going to be on the day that Tyler was getting Baptized we thought that we would take the boys to and make it even more of a special day.

My favorite part was the National Anthem. Carrie Underwood came and and sang it here is the video at the I dropped the camera to try and take a picture of the jets flying over which I missed. Dang.

Lou Diamond Phillips has been my favorite announcer of the Stadium of Fires that I have been too.

Then it was Jenny Oaks Baker. I love her music. I have a few of her Cd's, she is so talented.

Then it was The Osmond's 2nd Generations turn.

Then the 5 Browns and they are very talented also. I love the facial expressions they make when playing.
Then it was Carrie Underwood's turn I will post a pictures and a few video's.

This is one of my favorite songs.

Then it was time for the second best part of the night the firework show.

We had a great night I'm so glad I was able to go and see one of my favorite singers.

Tyler’s Baptism

Tyler got to be baptized on July 3, 2010. That morning was not a good morning for me. Nothing was going right and I couldn't find things and was not in a good mood. But by the time we made it to the church I had to change my attitude. This day wasn't about me it was about Tyler and that is all that mattered. It was great.

Our Stake does stake baptism so there were 5 boys getting baptized. Tyler was the only one form our ward. Since the lady over baptisms is in our ward she asked if we would do the musical number. So of course we said yes. I asked Tyler what he wanted. either I could sing, or I could sing with my dad, or I could sing with my mom and sisters or we could have both sides of the family sing, he wanted the whole family to sing. I also let him choose the song and he wanted " When Jesus Christ Was Baptized". Which many were familiar with. But it turned out great.

Then it was his turned to be baptized. I love that all the nieces and nephews got to sit and watch Tyler choose to be baptized. Randy spoke loud and clear and then dunked him in. He got the all clear and we were rushed to another room for the conformation.

After the baptism we had a picnic at Salem Pond. It was a perfect day. It was not hot and the park wasn't crowded, and we had just enough food that no own had left overs to take home. While at the park those who wanted we able to go out on the lake in the platoon and and other group of picnicker's had a slip in slide that let us use. The kids had tons of fun and the adults had fun talking and resting. Then to cap the night off we took the boys to the Stadium of Fire but that will be my next post.
