Yesterday

One of the Spanish songs.
The we hiked back and went to Payson lakes for a picnic. When we got there it started to rain so when I gave the blessing on the food I asked that the rain would stay away long enough for us to eat, and it did it ended up getting really hot, and then they were asking I would say a prayer again asking for the rain to come back.  It stayed away for the rest of the day. After lunch some sat around talking while others took naps and some went and played volleyball with another group.

When Javi was taking a nap I went a n tickled him a little couldn't help my self with his tummy sticking out. Then a little while later Julio pored ice could water in his belly button. You should have seen the look on his face it was price less.

After lunch we drove the rest of the Nebo loop looking for Devils Kitchen which none of us had been to. Put we first can across the Utah Valley overlook and had to stop and get a picture.

Devils Kitchen is a little piece of southern Utah in Mt. Nebo.
Then we all headed home so they could shower and get ready for the concert.

Tonight's performances were once again amazing. During the Spaniards performance we noticed that during the dance part, Antonio walked off stage and when Javier turned around to do the next part, his partner was not there and he saw Antonio off stage (all of this actually happened quite quickly). We could see the obvious concern on Javier's face and he wasn't sure what to do, so he just walked behind the singers and walked off stage as well. The group kept singing as if nothing was wrong, but we all knew that something was wrong, so I sent my Mom down to see what was wrong and when she didn't come back I sent Amanda down so I could finish recording Spain's performance and once it was over I asked one of my friends daughter's to sit with mine and Amanda's kids so I could find out what was going on.  When I meet up with Paco and the other members of the group we were all very worried. I have come to think of all the them as part of my family. We found out that Antonia had dislocated his shoulder while swinging his cape (these are very heavy wool capes) and they were trying to help him get it to go back in. He was in such pain. Patrice from the Folkfest took him to the first aid room and called the EM T's. They took him to UVRMC. Paco and Javier went to the hospital with him and the rest of the group hung around with such somber faces.  Since we were just sitting around I was thinking that  just sitting around was not good for them so I asked them to play for me. They did and I think it lightened the mood a bit.

We had no idea how long Antonio would be at the hospital, and the Folkfest had now ended, so we decided that Dennis and Amanda should take the little kids home, the group members that were with Carol and Val should go home after we heard what was going on, and I and my Mom would stay since we each had someone we were hosting at the hospital and they had no other way home. Amanda's guys stayed with us and my mom would take them to her house when Paco, Javier and Antonio got back from the hospital. We finally got home about 1:00. Antonio was feeling good as they gave him morphine at the hospital, and his shoulder was back in place. He was told that he had to be very careful for 2 weeks, but could never throw the cape again. After a typical midnight snack we all went to bed.
