Randys 32nd Birthday

Yesterday was Randy's 32ND Birthday. Tyler and I sang Happy Birthday to him when he woke up.(Clay was already at school.) Then he opened hid present from me. I got him a new pair of pants and belt and shirt. When I was asking him for his Birthday and Christmas list the pants and the belt were on his list. They look nice on him. When I bought the shirt I got the wrong size on accident. He wanted to go to lunch so after Tyler left for school we went. Randy's favorite place is Bajio. We always get the Chicken Green Chili Salad with double meat and share it. Then we took his shirt back and got the right size, and bought a few Christmas gifts. Before and after we got home I had been make the goodies that we would take around to the neighbors. I made Chocolate covered Pretzels, cookies and Smores Delight. Then we took them all around tonight. While I was making cookies I made cookies for is Birthday cake. Randy loves cookies and Ice Cream. My Mom and Dad stopped by and gave him a gift certificate for a massage and this really cool window scraper for the car. His mom and dad were supposed to come up they were running late and didn't make it. I hope he had a great Birthday. I am sure glad he was born and that I meet him and he choose me to be his wife. Happy Birthday Babe.

Christmas Carol

We went to the Christmas Carol this afternoon. And of course it was great. It is always nice to be reminded not to be a Scrooge. It seams the we are always in a rush at this time of year, and don't take much time to remember what Christmas really means. I am glad that all but the boys Christmas is done and we can just worry about other things. I hope my family can continue to remember what Christmas is all about.

Dell and Grandma Peterson and Randy and I. Randy's Mom and sisters Breena and Aimee came but we couldn't get all the seats together so they sat on the other side of the theater.

While we went to the play my mom and dad took the boys ice skating. They loved it and want to go again. My mom will probably post pictures so check on her blog.

Then we all meet up to eat. With mom being on her diet she is a little picky, but you would have to be if you stick with it so she didn't or couldn't eat at the places we thought of and the place my dad wanted to go randy hates so Mom said lets do Mexican so the only place I could think was Mi Ranchito.(thanks Kim for writing about it on your blog) It was great. I like what I got Tyler didn't like what he got and clay thought it was okay he just wanted grandmas pina colada Randy thought his was okay. He is so picky sometimes. Thanks for going with us mom and dad we had a great time.

The first 2 days of our cruise

Sunday the 16Th the hotel shuttled us to Miami port. We went through all the paper work stuff got are room keys and off we went. They don't let you go straight to your room, so we went to eat lunch. Then we walked around the ship. After awhile we were able to go to our room. My bags were there but Randy's wasn't they said they would be there before 7:00 and they came sometime between 6:30 and 7:00 so Randy couldn't change out of his shorts before dinner. We check things out and then it was almost time to leave the port. I wanted to go up top to watch us leave the beautiful city of Miami. We had made a reservations for the french restaurant La Cucina. We have never eat french so I really wanted to try it. (for those of you who want to see what kid of things we eat check out the pictures). The food was great. Randy started with Onion soup which was really good and I had Asparagus I loved it then Randy had swordfish which neither of us had tried before, and I didn't like Randy thought it was OK. I had Duck and whatever the call goose liver. I loved the duck hated the liver. For dessert I had some kind of crepes and Randy something else.(sorry I can't remember what it was called. The dessert was the best part of the meal. Then we went to the show which was good. It was a Little of all the acts we saw that week. Durning the show they introduced a couple that was on the honeymoon.(they will come into play a few days later.) Sometime this night we had bought the picture they take before we left and Randy sat it down, and we didn't remember until the next day, we looked for it for a couple of days. Someone had found it and turned it in but picture wasn't in the photo book. Saturday they reprinted it for us. We were hungry again so we ate a little more then went to bed.

Monday was the only morning we really got to sleep in. Since we were at sea all day. So we took full advantage. Then we ate breakfast and then went to play Bingo. I WON!! 246 dollars. Don't really remember what else we did during the day but that night we ate at the Mexican restaurant Mambo's The best part was the dessert which was a Mango and Pineapple compote. we went to the show which was good, can't remember what it was. Because we ate dinner so early I was always hungry before bed so we ate at the Great outdoors every night before bed. That night we went to bed early since we had to be up early. Plus I had some kind of junk in my head. A sinuses cold or something.

Stay tuned for the fun part of the cruise coming up. Sorry i just don't have the patience to sit and type it all out at one time plus it would be a huge entry.

Oh Chirstmas tree

So we got the tree up. We usually will put it up the day after Thanksgiving. But this year we helped his mom and dad and then Randy had to work all weekend. So he had today off and while I was at work brought the tree and everything up. Tyler has been ask all weekend when we were going to put it up he had a hard time waiting until this evening. Last year when we put it up I couldn't help much, because I had had surgery 2 days before Thanksgiving. This year I wanted it the way I like it. So of course I do the lights. If Randy does them he only put 3-4 strands of lights, when I do it I put 6-7 strands on.

While I was putting on the lights Tyler and Randy were getting the next strand ready.

Then its time to decorate. I sit and an wrap all the ornaments and had them to the boys and Randy helps them put them on top.

Now its all complete. I think they did a great job. They only thing left is the Angel but it is in a tote we haven't brought up yet. This year we are going to decorate the whole house since we didn't do it last year.

Raking Leaves

Friday we went over to Randy's mom and dad's to see what help they need in the kitchen and the boys were kind of in the way. SO I suggested to Clay that he might ask Grandpa how much I would be worth to him if Clay and Tyler raked the leaves up in the front yard. Grandpa said he would give them each Five dollars. I helped them get the rakes and off they went. An hour later I went to see how they were doing and Clay had a couple of big piles and poor Tyler had little piles, so I helped Tyler get a big pile. Then Grandma came out to See how they were doing and they wanted to know where they should put the leaves, she got the swimming pool and an garbage can and a tote. Then Grandma got the pitch fork out and was throwing the leaves in the pool. Once clay saw this he wanted to do it and the Tyler to so Grandma had to get another pitch fork out.

Then Grandpa came to see how they were doing and they had the pool the can and the tote full of leaves and they need to know where to put it so he helped them carry the pool over to his truck and they dumped them in. By the time they were finished the truck was full of leaves.

It took them about 3 hours to do it. So they got there five dollars each.

Then I took them to Game Crazy to by game cube games they had them on sale 4 for ten dollars so they each were able to get 2.

It was the perfect project for them to do so they wouldn't be in the way in the house.

Great job boys!!

Thanksgiving

Hope everyone had a great THANKSGIVING!

Ours started kind of early. I had set my alarm to get up at 7:00 am but for some reason it didn't go off. You see I had to cook the turkey and if I got up at 7:00 then it would be done by 11:30 and we could leave. Well since my alarm didn't go off I didn't get up until 8:00. I hate when this happens. So Randy and I got it in the oven by 9:00 and it was done at Noon. We were supposed to be at the church is Spanish by noon and we didn't get there until 1:00, the good thing was that they couldn't start with out us because we had the most important part of the meal. The reason I could the turkey was because Randy's mom and dad are in the middle of redoing the kitchen and the stove isn't hooked up.

Randy's Grandma Peterson thought that this might be the Thanksgiving she will have so she wanted all of her kids there. All but one showed up and it was great to see them, it has been 8 years since we had last seen David and Virgina, and just a couple of months since we had seen the rest of them. We had a huge feast. There were tons of left over salads and pies. When we got the church all cleaned up those who weren't going home came to our house because again Randy's mom and dads house has kitchen stuff all over and there was no room to put any one. We had a great visit with David and Virgina, and I hope we see them sooner then 10 years.

I,m so thankful for my boys and my husband and all off my family and friends. It has been nice to come home for are vacation and know we were missed. My boys just keep loving me. hugging and cuddling, it is nice since it is hard to get a hug, I will love every minute of it cause I know it won't last long. I'm thankful for my Savior and the love he has for me. I'm grateful Randy's great job, and that he works so hard to take care of us. I'm thankful for working cars, my sisters broke down today and that sucks big time, I'm glad we haven't had any problems. Knock on wood!!!

I hope you all had a great day with your loved ones as I did with mine.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

I couldn't figure out how to rotate pictures sorry. On my blog the picture wouldn't come up but if you hit see them all they did come up.
