Stair Remodel

For that last couple of years I have wanted to change the direction of my stairs. It would make it easier to take big things down stairs and it would also make the basement flow better. So right before my birthday Randy started to change them.

We still are quite done we still need to put a coat of varnish on but I love how they look. I can’t believe how different it makes the house look.

My 32nd Birthday

For my birthday I decided that I wanted to eat at one of my favorite restaurants Zupas and then go and see Tangled. So I invited both my family and Randy’s. Loved the movie my favorite Disney Movie. Caryn made me this cake, I was in heaven Chocolate all made from scratch.

One day before my Birthday I get a call from my Mom who said they had found Rock band for 17 dollars. It came with the drums, the guitar, the mic and the game, all for 17 dollars. So I told her I wanted it. When I saw next I asked her if she got it. She told me that it wasn’t the real price so they didn’t get it. Well my mom decided that she would give it to me for my birthday.

Randy had gotten a coupon in the mail for 2 free night room and 100 dollars at Montego Bay in Wendover. So we used it as a getaway for my birthday. Had the all you can eat Seafood Buffet, I have come to craving seafood since.

We took a trip out the Bountiful Salt Flats. It is very peaceful and beautiful. I had a great birthday.

Crazy Hair Day

Clay and Tyler have both been growing their hair out so we did a ponytail Mohawk for both of them.

Aimee’s Birthday

For Aimee’s Birthday we went to Mimi’s Café for Breakfast and then went and saw I am Number 4.

Valentines Date

Since I had so much fun last year at our Valentines Date I wanted to do it again.

But this time it was more stressful. People kept complaining about what we were eating and doing that I just about canceled the whole thing. But when everyone who had been complaining dropped out I continued on. We had so much fun.

For dinner we had Pho and Pot Stickers.

Pho is a Vietnamese soup.

And for dessert a Chocolate Fountain. It was so good.

Then we played some games.

The Newly Wed Game which we can in second right behind Brian and Malinda. they won by 10 points.

Then we played Valentines BINGO.

Valentines Topiary

I saw this Idea on another blog. But When I was at the dollar store the only had this shape of foam (the one on the blog was circle). It didn’t have the pearls or the yarn. It took me 3 days to make all the rose petals and put them together.  I wanted to make them for my table decoration for my Valentines date. They made the table look so good. They turned out wonderful. I just love them. I can’t wait to display them next year.

Foot Surgery

9 Nine years ago they but screws in both of my feet to stablize my arch. 5 years ago the right one was coming out so they had to replace it. Well the screw in my left foot was starting to come out and it was scraping on my bone. So the doctor said they would just take it out. That there should be enough scare tissue in there that it should continue to do the job the screw was doing. So they took it out. This surgery has been the easiest on me, it was my 8th surgery in 10 years. So I wasn't to worried.

After Surgery. I was so cold so they put this plastic blanket on me that pumped hot air into the tubes, It kept me nice and warm

I didn’t a lot better coming off the ansthsia this time then the last two times.

They only thing I had problems with was the next day I was so nauses.Even tho the pain pills made me sick the first day after surgery, but when the doctor called to check up on me he called in a percription that would help me feel better with the help of another pill I was just fine.

The Sisters in my ward brought some great dinners that we enjoyed.
