Sleepover and Sledding

The last couple of years Randy's Aunt and Uncle have had everyone over for dinner and games and a sleepover. Usually it is durning Thanksgiving. This year it was the day after Christmas. So we went over and had Roast beef and salads and pie. After we were done most of the ladies went and watched a movie while Randy and I and his cousin Laine took Clay and Tyler and cousin Caleb sledding. But before we went sledding we needed to buy sleds. Randy went to a couple of stores and they were all out, so instead of him going around to all the stores he called and asked if I would call around I called a few stores and every single store was sold out. Luckily for us Laine had three sleds that we could use and Caleb had brought his own.

When we came back we watch another movie and then a few went home and the rest of us stayed up until 2:00.

The next morning we had Blueberry pancakes and eggs. After breakfast we went and bought tubes for the tire store and the hit the hill again. This time Kevin and Carie came along. There were a lot of people there, but I thought there would be more. Most of the kids sledding need to learn the safety rules to sledding. Like not walking up the middle where others are sledding, Not walk across the middle of where others are sledding. Several people got hurt and I felt bad for them but they were not being safe. I'm glad nobody got hurt to bad. We had so much fun. It has been about 9 years since the last time Randy and I had gone. The Boys loved it so much we will diffidently will need to go more often.

Later that night we had our good friends Jim and Leah and there kids over for games and dinner. Later Randy's Brother-in-law came and played games and then stayed the night. Randy's sister had to work all weekend and was bored and so we took him in like a lost puppy. It was fun to get to know him a little better. Then Sunday my Dad and I sung a duet in my ward and next Sunday we will sing it in his ward. We have had a great Christmas Holiday spend a lot time with family and friends. We love you all.
