FHE

So tonight was are monthly FHE with the Peterson's. It is always fun. The boys were a little bum because uncle Kevin and aunt Carie were late because they were coming back for Idaho in a blizzard. Uncle Kevin all was plays football with them. Caryn and Brenna brought one of their friends Kimmie with them, and she fits in perfect with the rest of us girls. I think that dad and Kevin must have felt out numbered with all the girls that are around. Mom made a delicious dinner: pork roast, potatoes, Green beans and garden tomatoes. I brought a fruit salad and the girls brought chocolate chip bread pudding which was really good.

After dinner I asked if someone would help paint my toes since that last time the were done was in July. So Kimmie said she would do it. She did an awesome job. Now I have pretty pink toes.

As always the night was fun. It was nice to see everyone because it has been a while since I had seen a few of my sisters. Till next month.

10th Anniversary

So Today is my tenth wedding anniversary. And I was all alone. Randy went hunting with my dad and his uncles, and left me all alone. I knew he was but it still is hard not celebrating with him. I guess the cruise we are going on next month will make up for it. So today I spent the day with me mom we had the monthly scrap booking day and then went to Noddles and company and then went to JoAnn's and now we will go and watch Made of Honor. Mom hasn't seen it yet, (What a cute movie).

Still I can't believe that we have been married for that long it doesn't seam like 10 years has gone by. Time just goes by way to fast. I'm so glad Randy chose me to be his wife. He is the right man for me. He calms me down when upset and cheers me up when sad and reminds me that I am loved. He is always a great help around the house. He is my moper, I hate mopping and he will always do it for me.I glad that he isn't wishy washy in trying to figure out what he wants to do, and that he has stuck it through with Stouffers. I just love him to death and can't imagine spending the rest of my life and through the eternities without him. I love you RANDY!!!

Great Teachers

I have signed up to help on the first wenseday of every month in Tyler's class. So i went today. I just have to tell you Tyler's kindergatan teachers is the best teacher I have seen. Mrs Mitchell has such a love of teaching. She loves her kindergarten kids to death. While visiting her class I noticed how much fun she makes learning. How many cute and different thnigs she does to help and encourge learning. She even made me fell like learning all over again. Well durning the time helping they had a fire drill. She didn't know about it, had the kids line up, and had me make sure there were no kids left in the classroom and turn off the light and shut the door behind me and make sure all the kids following her outside. Once we were outside and she had all of her kids a counted for, she kept them busy and singing nursrey rhymes and sing this cute alphbet song, going over the letter sounds they were working on for the week. Then they finailly let us back in and it was time for the mom helpers to leave. Mrs. Mitchell is the greatest teacher of all time, I wish we could clone her for all the grades my kids are in.

Enrichment

Tonight was our wards enrichment night. I had been debating about going since tonight was also Clay's first flag football game. But I decide that enrichment only happens a few times a year and clay has football all month long and missing one game wasn't going to hurt. Boy am I am glad that I went.

Jared Osmond Spoke and sang about Forgiveness, Self-Esteem Through the Gospel. He also talked about Child Abuse and depression.

I don't know if you know the statics on child abuse about 1 out of every 2 kids have some sort of child abuse in their lives.

Things we can do to prevent it from happening.

1. Talking to your children. Letting them know that you are there for them.

2. Did you know that alot af sexual abuse happens at sleepovers. He suggested that you eliminate any type of sleepovers, with friends and cousins.

He talked a lot on depression. He said like the commandment love thy neighbor as thy self. The thing we forget is that we have to love ourselves first. That we are our worst enemy, and we remember ourselves at our worst. We need to be careful on how we judge ourselves and others. We are children of God and we need to love ourselves. And to find out who we are? He said a couple of things that can help you when you are depressed is to. Know who you are. Not to judge or belittle us our anyone around us.

He had a acronym of "SPF" which is Speak well & spirit, Be Physicical and family and focus.

S: Speak well of your self and to take care of your spirit. Instead of when you look in the mirror and you think your ugly or your to fat, think I'm beautiful and other positive thoughts. We need to be our own bestfriend. For taking care of your spirit go to the temple read your scriptures anything that will help to strengthen out spirit.

P: Be Physical. When your sitting and not doing anything, it keeps you in the same mind frame. But if you get up and do something physical it well help take it off your mind.

F: Family and Focus. Your family can remind you that you are loved. I can't remember what the focus was. Sorry..

The reason we fear is because we are afraid to lose something. But because we have the gospel we should have nothing to fear. Pres. Hinkley said something to that affect.

I think I really need this tonight. Being one of those 1 out of 2 kids who have some sort of abuse, having low self-esteem and having depression on occasion helped me to know that I'm now alone, and that my heavenly father loves me. That there are other things I haven't thought of or done. I hope that someday I will not have to struggle as much with these. That I can remember that I'm a beautiful, smart, loving, kind, wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. I thank my heavenly father for putting someone in my life to help me with the things I struggle with. I'm so thankful.

Our new truck

So the last couple of weeks Randy has been looking on KSL for trucks. Just wondering what was out there. He found one he like and I called the next day for him since he was at work, well they had sold it. So he was like no biggie, I well just keep looking, I'm in know rush to get one. So yesterday he got on to KSL again and was looking there were like ten pages of trucks list in on day, so he went through them and came across one, He couldn't believe the price so he called and asked if the still had it, and they did. I called one of my neighbors asked if we could drop Tyler off and if she could get Tyler off to school. (Her little girl is in Tyler's class). The truck was in Salt Lake and we wanted to be back for the boys when the got home for school. When we got to the dealership we looked at the truck and it was really nice inside and out, so we took it for a test drive, and really liked it. Well the last thing we wanted to know was what the car fax said about it. Find out that it was a car that you could rent from like enterprise, they took really good care of it and only sold it because the warnenty had expired. The car fax was good so randy decide that we couldn't pass it up. The dealership had it listed for 9,999 and had a sale sign in it for 7,999 and on-line it was listed for 5,999. And there was nothing wrong with it. They just don't like having cars longer than a month on there lot. We couldn't believe it, it had low miles and was a 2000 Ford F250 what a great deal. You all are thinking why by a truck with gas prices this high. Well I'll tell you why it was cheap and we said once payed our car off and we had no more debt we would by a truck, well that time is now. So now we can work on all of those home improvement projects we have wanted to do but didn't have a way to haul things. And maybe we can get a trailer and a 4-wheeler and have fun with our family and friends who those things.
