Valentines Topiary

I saw this Idea on another blog. But When I was at the dollar store the only had this shape of foam (the one on the blog was circle). It didn’t have the pearls or the yarn. It took me 3 days to make all the rose petals and put them together.  I wanted to make them for my table decoration for my Valentines date. They made the table look so good. They turned out wonderful. I just love them. I can’t wait to display them next year.

Foot Surgery

9 Nine years ago they but screws in both of my feet to stablize my arch. 5 years ago the right one was coming out so they had to replace it. Well the screw in my left foot was starting to come out and it was scraping on my bone. So the doctor said they would just take it out. That there should be enough scare tissue in there that it should continue to do the job the screw was doing. So they took it out. This surgery has been the easiest on me, it was my 8th surgery in 10 years. So I wasn't to worried.

After Surgery. I was so cold so they put this plastic blanket on me that pumped hot air into the tubes, It kept me nice and warm

I didn’t a lot better coming off the ansthsia this time then the last two times.

They only thing I had problems with was the next day I was so nauses.Even tho the pain pills made me sick the first day after surgery, but when the doctor called to check up on me he called in a percription that would help me feel better with the help of another pill I was just fine.

The Sisters in my ward brought some great dinners that we enjoyed.

2 days after surgery

New Years Eve/day

On New Years Eve went went to Adi’s birthday party and then stayed and had Dinner with Brian and Malinda and Jayshree and Alex LaRose. We didn’t stay late because Randy and Clay was going Rabbit hunting with my Dad and Brother-in-laws and Alex, and had to up really early.

Tyler and I hung out and Malinda’s while they were gone. But it wasn’t for to long, because Alex forgot that he was supposed to Baptize his little brother until his Mom called. SO they were only gone for a couple of hours. Malinda and I were surprised they were home so soon, that we didn’t get a girls time in. Oh well.

 We came home early and Randy asked Tyler what he wanted to do. Tyler said Sledding. Well I was not going to go out in 5 degree weather and Clay didn’t want to go since he had already spent a couple of hours in the cold weather so Randy and Tyler went themselves over to Peteetneet They daid they had a lot of fun.

Christmas Day at the Peterson’s

We told Randy’s family that we would be over around 1:00pm. We get there and they are just finishing Breakfast so for lunch we had another breakfast. Which I loved. I love breakfast foods.

Then we had to wait until Caryn got home. She had to work and didn’t get off until 4:00 pm. She got home and was surprised that we waited for her to open gifts. She thought she would catch the tail end and wrapped all her gifts really really good so it would last longer. It took us from 5:00pm until 9:00pm to unwrap all but one gift.

The last gift there was a story to it. Well by then we were all hungry so stopped ate dinner and opened the last gift. We left around 11:00pm got home around 11:30 and in bed just after midnight. It had been a long day but a great CHRISTMAS DAY!!!

Christmas Morning

So I woke up 5 minutes before 9:00 am. We told the boys they couldn’t wake us up until 9. I was trying to Randy up before the boys came in, but he didn’t want to. The boys Came in at exactly 9:00 am. We got up I went and put Breakfast in the oven, then we started unwrapping gifts. Here is a lo-down of what we got.

Randy: A Handgun Safe, and some Movies

Alisha: Winter gear, Thermals, Socks, Hat, Gloves, and some Movies

Clay: A Backpack for scout camp, PSP, and Games, Movies and Mom made him a BYU Quilt for his bed

Tyler: Air Guitar, PSP and Games, Movies, Memory foam pad for his bed and Mom also made him a BYU Quilt for his bed.

After Presents we ate Breakfast and then Grandma and Grandpa Archuleta and Uncle Brian and Aunt Malinda and Katrae and Adi came over to see what we got.
